Engineers at Hewlett-Packard Co.'s Corvallis campus have teamed up with colleagues at OSU to develop a new technology they hope will make solar panels twice as efficient as traditional models at half the cost. The technology is based on John Wager’s work in transparent electronics. Read about this new technology.Inspired Leadership. Our undergraduates take command of the classroom  and understand their responsibility to the students. Read more in ASEE Prism.OSU’s Solar Vehicle Team will compete in the North American Solar Challenge, a 2,400-mile car race from Dallas, Texas to Calgary, Canada, that starts on July 13. OSU’s entry, the Rain Dancer, looks a bit like a three-wheeled Batmobile. It  took three years and $50,000 to build. Learn more about the race.
